Does anyone know of a source for the 5 hole clam shell vents used on 1990's era Boston Whaler 22 Outrages? I can find lots of them with 3 mounting holes online, but haven't found the 5 hole version, I didn't see it in the parts area either (unless I missed it somehow.)
I need to replace two and am hoping to get ones with matching hole locations rather than have to fill and redrill for new 3-hole ones.
Image attached of the clam shell vent in question.
Thanks!

Well, I dug a bit deeper into the parts listing and found an article Joe Kriz wrote on the subject. For some reason it didn't come up in my searches on google or on this site.
For others that are interested in the question, the answer is here on Whaler Central:

Yep, you need to drill the extra 2 holes.

Buy the newer Perko SS versions, rather than the original chrome on brass, which doesn't hold up in salt.

The Perko part #0315 covers both brass and stainless
Larry - Have a non-Amazon vendor?
My go-to vendors only show the chrome over brass version.

I'm in the Great Lakes, salt is not a concern. :)
Sea Dog looks to make them in stamped stainless though.

The Perko part number for the matching SS ventilator is 0315DP2STS. Google shows lots of results, including Amazon in Canada.
I actually couldn’t easily get the Chromed brass, so have ordered SS and will report back with drill-ability.
I am concerned that they are stronger than the chro,Ed brass, as mine were crushed by a previous owner at some point. Will the SS ones cause hull damage is they hit something instead of just folding down on themselves? I believe it was due to the trailer setup which I have changed a bit to hopefully resolve the issue.

I happened to be looking for new Perko 2x2 clam shell vents a month after Perko started to produce in Stainless. By far the way to go. Set up a jig from the old vents to get the screw hole layout for the additional 2 screw holes required ( needs to be very accurate). The factory had to do the same thing since Perko only came with 3 screw holes. Screws are truss heads, and I believe #8 1/2". Bed with a good sealant.
There is quite a bit of structural surface to surface face to spread impact load, so I wouldn't worry about punching it into the hull. To me, the fact that yours were crushed indicates some rough treatment and some high point loads. The chrome plated brass clam shells are really strong, as well, due to their shape and fastener frequency. I have seen a lot of bunk trailers rigged incorrectly that allows the clamshell to bear on the bunk. Really really bad.

We have many original parts shown in our "OEM Part Info and Photos" section in the menu bar.

We also have an article I wrote shown in post #2 above.
