What model do you have? Is the boat a smirked or smirkless hull? I ask as I see you have the rails for sale. They differ from the 16' hull(smirkless) and the 17' hull smirked. The smirked hull has a triangular anchor locker in the bow, not a rectangle. Make sure you fill the holes properly so no water can get inside.

Smirked I think - I tried to attach a picture - it is the model with no console - I would like to convert it to a console and regular seat - what height console should I use? do I place it over the "hole" in the floor where the controlls come up? I know this will make it "custom" but I'd like to alter it to suit my needs - Yes, i used 6 ten epoxy to fill the holes

Yes you would put the console over the rigging tunnel. Depending on your budget you can go oem or through Specialty Marine which would greatly help on resale. Either way it is going to be expensive.

Took the boat out for the first time today! It started right up and ran well with no surprises - seemed to like about 2800-3000 rpm - hung out at the sandbar for awhile then took a cruise into miami (from north miami) and toured a couple of canals before returning to the dry stack - i think i burned about 2 gallons of gas - old boat (30' twin I/O cruiser would have burned over 20!
