Hello. I have a 1987 15' Sport that we recently had restored. I'm trying to locate some odd parts and thought someone might help me with what a part is called so that I can research it for purchase.
The stumper is a rubber plug that fits into the area above the bilge and it may have previously held a plastic adapter to secure the wiring harness. I am attaching a picture, and my hand is pointing towards one of the plugs. To the right you can see one of the empty holes.
I have tried a variety of terms including "plug, grommet, harness, etc..." along with Boston Whaler and the type and year of boat with no luck. I've also looked at manuals, countless pages of Whaler images, etc...
Worst case, I will probably just take the one remaining plug out and find something similar at a boat or hardware store to plug each of the holes, but I'd like to do it right if possible.

Both those holes should be repaired. Never good to have any holes that are unsealed.
If the boat is desert tan, I recommend Locktite Marine Epoxy in White. When it dries, it is a close color match. Use plastic kitchen film to get a smooth finish.
If you want to secure any cables or wire loom, use a zip tie with a screw hole at the end. Pre-drill and campher the gelcoat to prevent stress cracks and then insert screw with a dab of sealant under the screw head.

Thanks Phil T! I suspect that was something done in the 23 years since it was purchased, and you are confirming that. The person who restored the exterior and interior didn't patch those up since he wasn't sure if I wanted to replace them. He also paints yachts and doesn't have a lot of experience with every type of Whaler setup to know what holes were original and what some yahoo did later on. I'll ask him to supervise while I do the work that you suggested. Much appreciation for your input!
