I had one on my 19' Banana Revenge and loved it. I hate using anchors when beached as it is a pain and they get all sandy and need adjusting for tides. Power pole makes it simple and clean. I prefer the engine mount so you do not need to through bolt your transom.
I use a micro power pole on my 17 whaler on the coast. If you have sand bottoms they are great. Can’t remember the last time I used my anchor. My ideal set up is to get one for the front too. Current set up is one on the transom. I think this summer I’ll upgrade to one on the bow too.
