Gasket for 8" Viking Hatch

Member Posts: 3 Comments: 0 Joined: 05/01/20	I have a 2007 205 Conquest. There are three 8"deck hatches manufactured by Viking, which is now out of business. I have some seepage of deck water into the bilge and would like to start by replacing the flat gaskets. Cant seem to find them anywhere. Does anyone have a source ?

Member Posts: 890 Comments: 4 Joined: 05/08/06	Are they O-rings? If so they should be easy to find. It might not be the gasket as much as the outside frame is not sealed. 24 Whalers so far....

You will most likely find a replacement looking at Beckson, Bomar and Pompanette websites/dealers. Worst case, remove the outer ring and replace the entire unit with a modern unit.
