I got my boat back from being gel painted & started the process of putting the bow light back & there are two holes to secure the light,& a third hole for the light wire. Does that hole go back to the center console, or does that wire get hidden under the rub rail? Maybe the hole got plugged during the restoration process.
From what I have learned the original bow light wire attaches to the rear terminal block at the stern light. It is buried in the foam and terminates at the bow light. Most people rewiring the boat run a replacement wire under the rub rail. I would suggest you rewire it for sure if you have the rub rail disassembled and have the easy access to do so.
