Hi,

Has anyone ever built, or do they sell a platform for the rear of this boat?

basically I'm looking for ideas to make a casting platform/ covering for a gas tank and batteries in the rear of the boat. I would still like room to walk behind my seat, so I wouldn't want the platform to extend super far out. Just enough to cover, batteries and a gas tank. and strong enough to stand on.
Anyone have any pictures. I was looking at newer Makos this weekend that had something similar and was curious if BW has ever done something similar.

Thank you,

Andrew

Not sure on the older hulls if they made one. I know they made forward decks since 1961. Gas tank and battery should go under console and seat in my opinion.

There was not an OEM offering on the 16'7 hull. There was on the Bass Boat model back in the day.

I recall 1/2 a dozen owners have built either a rear seat/platform or a hybrid of both. Almost all are fabricated with wood.

Ron has built what many would say is the best design.
