Hi,
I have a 1969? 16ft Custom

Do these boats require bilge pumps to be mounted on the deck of the boat? I just wondering how the water drains from the deck. I dont see any holes besides the one where the Motor goes.

Thank you,

Andrew

There is another drain hole in the rear sump where the wiring and cables go from console to engine. Many put a bilge pump there as it is the lowest point. If you have a light enough engine you may be able to just leave the plug out and no pump required.
