I read all I can find by searching. Would those of you that have a similar boat with bow rail with Mills top please post a pic of the top stowed? Or direct me to a pic I missed? I'm comparing the two they offer now; Bimini that stows inside of front bow rail and Flying that stows outside of bow rail. I'm not interested in aftermarket or raised when stowed. Thank you

There is a reason Mills changed the stowed position to outside the bow rail. Makes more room inside the Montauk.
Here is the older style that is stowed inside.

A Sun Top stowed outside the bow rail although this is not Mills but same principle.

My 1987 Montauk had a non-Mills top on 6' sliders that stowed outside the rails.
The rails allow you to set it to shade the cooler seat passengers or the RPS passengers.
This is the best installation in my opinion.

Seems like it to me alos. Is there interference deploying the anchor or with the nav light when stowed?

I ran the anchor rode to outer bow eye and then under bimini rails to norman pin.
Did not run at night with the bimini installed on the boat.

I installed a sunbrella material toast color Mills sun top on one of my boats dated to 2014. The sun top was a nicely manufactured assessory and Mills provided detailed installation instructions.
The sun top stowed forward did not impede in the use of the norman pin for anchoring - you feed your anchor line under the stowed sun top - nor the bow light.
Here is a link to a photograph of the sun top. While my boat did not have a bow rail installed, the sun top only needed to be positioned forward on the tracks to rest in the stowed position forward of the bow rail centerline stanchion base.
