My center bow is a bit short - leaves the canvas fluttering and the bow itself is bouncing up and down. I'd like to source one that is about 4-5" longer. Is there a source that sells them individually? I guess I can find something close on CL and cut it down.

The front bow has the forward straps attached, how is it possible that it bounces? Are the straps taught?
as its stated in the OP, it is the center bow that bounces. front and rear bow is fine.

Have you considered having a sailmaker remove the stitching on the front bow and pulling it closer and restitch?
Let me talk to my guy and see what he thinks. I was going to have the pockets removed and replaced with the ones with zippers attached. I will play around with the center bow too. Maybe take it off, push it up by hand and see what it does. As it sits, there is no tension on it at all.
