Steering wheel loose

Member Posts: 4 Comments: 0 Joined: 07/06/19	Just got my 2012 Dauntless 230 and the steering wheel has about an inch of forward backward play. Is that normal or should it be tight? If it’s supposed to be tight what do I do? Thanks

There are usually 3 bolts BEHIND the console that hold the helm on. are these loose? You will probably have to remove he wheel to get the plastic "cup" off and go from there. 24 Whalers so far....
