I want to get the mahogany interior components for a 1962 13’ Boston Whaler. Is Specialty Marine currently a good option?

There are other, perhaps better, options. Buying a plywood interior is not a best choice.

What Specialty Marine sells is plywood? Can you let me know of any companies that would have what I’m looking for? Thanks

There is a second source for wood parts and interiors.

Bob Latourelle

Owners have been very pleased with his offerings.

While he does not have a website, he does have a repeating listing on Craigslist.

He is a hands on guy so give him a call.

Thank you very much. I ordered from Bob. I bought a 1962 13’ Hull. It’s never been painted. It’s in decent shape, so for now I’m thinking about leaving it as is and just adding the mahogany interior and a new 25 Suzuki. Thanks again!

Just FYI....I ordered a front hatch for my 1981 13' sport from Specialty and it was delivered Saturday. It is not plywood and the finish was impeccable. Of course we will see how it does over time.

(please follow guideline #1 at the top of this page and use the full 4 digit year)

I ordered a complete Super Sport interior for my Classic 15. None of it was plywood.

Last month I ordered a thwart seat and bow hatch for my classic 15 from Specialty Marine and I am thrilled with the quality. The hatch was actually on their “blemished” item section and I have struggled to find anything wrong with it. I highly recommend Specialty Marine.
