You will note it states the plugs are installed when occupied.
When unoccupied, remove the plugs, exit the boat and observe the water level in the boat. Pour 5 gallons of water in the bow area and observe. Pour a second 5 gallons. Notice the level of the water in the boat.
I think you will be fine.

Thanks for the quick response! "The bow locker and cockpit drain plugs must be in place when moored" definitely sounds to me like they're telling me to plug it when unoccupied - but plugs out makes way more sense. I did wash it down yesterday while moored, plugs out, and the water drained as I hope the rain does.
