13' - Steering cable length?

I am replacing the old broken small console with the sport version. the old cable is hard to read but it seems to be a 9 footer, however, when I measure my a + b + c + 6" I get 114" or nearest foot of 10 feet. Member Posts: 77 Comments: 0 Joined: 06/02/15	I just replaced a 10ft cable with a 9 ft cable on a 1988 13ft Sport I'm restoring. The 10 ft was definitely too long- it hung out over the transom.
