Took my 1995 13' GLS out last weekend and got stranded and had to float back with the tide, apparently it was cold enough that the primer bulb was hard as a rock, and I was afraid that the effort needed to squeeze it would rupture or worse, shatter it. I vaguely remember someone making a fuel hose and bulb that stays pliable even in cold weather. Is anyone familiar with this product?
I have no idea on the age, the hose and fittings came with boat, made by Attwood. I plan on replacing bulb, but in the fog in the back of my head, I seem to recall a cold tolerant model made by someone.
