I have just cracked my second plastic lens for my white all around anchor light. I attempted to epoxy the crack, but cracked it again when squeezing it. Too brittle to save.
Very cheap to replace with another plastic lens, but was wondering if maybe anyone has come across a frosted glass lens?
I also found an LED replacement for the regular two contact bulb for the all around on Amazon. SRRB Performance brand. 2 for $14.99 400 Lumens. I like the fact this brand has a glass lens over the LEDs. Moisture protection as LEDs are mini circuit boards that don't like condensation.
+I found an LED replacement bulb for the bow Nav-light at O'Reilly's Auto. (DE3175) it is around 1-1/4" long. I will swap it tonight and check brightness. (Lumens). $9.95
Too bright and it will wash out the color line between red and green.

Joe, I get the policy per year, etc. (1996 Outrage 17), but these lights are Perko brand, sold across many boat lines. Which is why I didn't include it.

Perko sells many stern lights these days.
And I'm not sure what light you have now as I don't remember what I had on my 1997 Outrage 17' II.
And, you also might have been talking about another model of Whaler that you just bought etc.
I still have no idea what globe you are referring to.
Do you have a photo of the original light?
These are just a few from the Perko catalog online:

Sorry, didn't mean to sound snarky. Mine is the Alpha series, 1131 with the cheap little conical lenses.
I am going to make a call to Perko. Joe, Thanks for the links, you are a great asset, offsetting my computer illiteracy.
EDIT: For those wondering, per customer service, Perko did away with those years ago. You are stuck with delicate lenses, subject to sun damage. Or find an antique Perko with a glass lens?

How long do those plastic Lens last from Perko?
They don't cost too much.

I suppose they last a bit better if you cover them all the time. I'm guilty of leaving it on my fish cleaning table occasionally.
