Connecting Towables

I purchased a harness from Amazon(below) and it looks like the hook/latches will be too small for the exterior transom eye. What are you all using? It will hook on, but the flap on the hook cannot spring back past the towing eye hardware as it is too thick. You follow? This will be for a 3-person tube setup. You should measure the exisiting transom eyes so the D ring is deep enough to accept the hook from the harness. It was a trial and error exercise in the parking lot of Hamilton Marine in Portland. LOL. Member Posts: 9 Comments: 0 Joined: 05/05/20	I bought the same harness off Amazon and had the same issue. I took a flat file and filed off about 1/4" off of the closure. It took about 20 mins, but I spent a lot of time making sure there were no sharp edges. It now snaps around my transom eye hooks. GradGrah
