There is a part of my hatch support hardware that has broken. The best I can describe is it is the sleeve that the support tube travels through.

I can send a picture of it if anyone e-mails me.

Thanks

From Mtown:

First pic is the parts separated. Second is "assembled".
Problem is the round sleeve is broken in two.

Phil,

Thank you for posting. Apparently I sent you the "unassembeled photo twice. I will send you photo #2 which shows the parts together. This photo shows the parts seperated. The part on the left appears intact, but it is the broken piece. I just have the two halves lying together.

This part allows the supporting of the cuddy cabin lid in various positions. The SS rod attaches to a similar piece
and the "sleeve" has a hole in the side for the "wing bolt" that is pictured.
It is a 1989 22' Outrage Cuddy. I am sure the hardware is original.

Some how the sleeve split in half, probably from someone trying to force it open or closed when the wing bolt was tight and holding it open or closed.

This actually looks quite similar. The boat is 50 miles away so I only have part of the entire assembly.
