Looking for a boat cover for my 1996 21 Outrage. Has anyone had any luck with these aftermarket covers? Don't know what spiders eat but the poop really sticks to fiberglass.
I shopped around for extension aluminum poles, three of them, with rubber chair-leg tips, top and bottom. The same quality pole is sold at massively different price points, so look around.
Finally, for my bow, above the anchor locker, I bought a HUGE inflatable ball from Walmart's toy section. The ball sits up there and keeps the cover from pooling water. Cheap, easy, and hasn't shown any sign of harming the boat or cover. Between poles and ball, the cover drapes nicely and water runs off, doesn't pool.

I paid $168 for my Outrage 22 custom cover. It lasted for about three years and then it crapped out. But it comes with a five year warranty and they sent a replacement to me for free. Not sure if they have one for your specific model.
I bought a Carver cover for my !988 Montauk from Quality Marine Supply. They were very helpful and contacted Carver for me to make sure it would fit the rails. Carver also recommended a fabric called SunDura for my location in NJ and use. It was about $300 and they quickly had it drop shipped to my home. It is in its third season and it always on the boat which stays on a trailer. Aside from being stained from use it is still in great shape and fits perfectly. It also came with a motor cover. I would definitely buy one again.
