Been a fan of whalers since I was kid after our 1962 13 Whaler we had. I recently picked up a 1982 15' and great shape, but the wood is completely gone in it. Im on the fence about buying the super sport package from Specialty Marine. Is a center console whaler more desirable than the traditional side console? Im doubting the quality of Specialty, but wanted to see if there were other options out there to rebuild it. Thanks for your input!
