I use and recommend Life Caulk. If you need a close color match, you could try OSI Quad in almond. As far as I know, Boston Whaler did use silicone caulking on some tank covers, maybe not all, but they did use it. In fact, they had a special color made by Starbrite, spelling? This is no longer available. There are several companies that make tile grout with silicone caulk in matching colors. I have used them with great success in both durability and color match. I will see if I can find an old tube and post the maker. If not, just do a search for colored silicone caulk, and tile grout. When the previous owner of my 1991 Outrage 17 removed the deck panel to fix a soft soft, he found out that the Starbrite almond caulking can now be ordered in small quantities directly from the company, even if it's not available anymore from Twin Cities.
