My last outing on the river I managed to lose my starboard stern cushion. According to the dealer this part is discontinued. It looks to me as if a cushion from a later model outrage 190 would work. Now i'm told the boat has been changed and the cushions won't fit. Does anyone have any info? Should i just have a upholstery shop make me one? Online the boat still looks the same to me. Thanks Mark

Call Sue Lodel at Beacon/Twin Cities Marine to double check availability. She is the whaler parts guru. Tell her we sent you.

www.beacontcm.com

If not available via Sue, Anderson's makes OEM cushions for classic and non-current models.

They may have the correct material. If they don't have the template, you could give them the dimensions.

Tena and crew are well regarded by many many whaler owners.

Let us know how this turns out for the benefit of future inquiries.

When I said:

I was not kidding.

Just so we know, what is the solution?

Sorry Phil " The rest of the story"

When I called Sue she looked up my starboard rear quarter seat cushion part# 1781395. She laughed and told me this number was superseded by another number with a list price of $2100.00. She had run into this problem before and knew what I needed. For $130.00 plus shipping my cushion is being sent from Boston Whaler . I'm not sure of the new part number yet I didn't ask, if you want it i'll post it when I get it.

Sue ended our conversation with " If for any reason you have any concerns or problems when you get the cushion, give me a call and I will figure it out." It doesn't get much better then that! Mark
