I have a 2002 180 Dauntless and it had a 54 qt cooler with a seat when I purchased it. There were 2 cooler cleats with areas that appeared to straps to hold down the cooler. I bought the boat used, so I am not sure if this is an OEM part or not.

However, the straps were not there were I bought it.

My question:

1) Is the cooler and cleats a stock part?
2) Does anyone know what the part number is for the cooler straps?
3) If so, where can I find the straps for purchase?

I've searched for weeks and cannot find anything useful t all.

Thanks!

Eric -

The cooler is a standard Igloo Marine cooler and available at most stores and on the web. Shop around, prices vary.

The bracket and cords are whaler parts but the often are variants of a commercially available item.

To find the OEM or close proximity part, you can visit your local dealer.

Personally, I recommend you contact Sue Lodel at Beacon Marine/Twin Cities Marine. She is the Parts GOD and revered both here and abroad.

Tell her WhalerCentral referred you.

Please update this post with the information you find for future searchers.

See these directly on Boston Whaler Parts website.

http://whalerparts.com/Diagrams/2002/...80DA46.pdf

It shows the cooler and chocks but no part number for the chocks.
