1987 Boston Whaler outrage 18. I am looking for a picture of the proper installation of the cooler cleats? I downloaded the diagram and making them now.
I had the same problem trying to figure out the installation of the cleats What I did was to set cooler in place and the opened the lid to ensure proper clearance, once I figured that out I placed tape on the deck outlining the edges of the cleat. With the cleats still in place I drilled smaller holes through the cleats and into the deck, once you have the holes in the deck you can then drill the cleats the correct drill size along with the deck holes. hope this helps.
