This is the response I received from Alafia @ Rochester Gauges last May:

To get a direct replacement you would most likely go back to the tank manufacturer or the boat manufacturer – this is a custom gauge and usually is made specifically for a company.
We do have adjustable gauges in this series for top mounting, and we have customers that keep stock of the gauge.
McMaster Carr has this gauge but it has a threaded adapter (1 ½”) that can be removed and you can use it.

This only has a 3” stem and a 30” float arm that can be cut down to the size of the tank.
You can reach McMaster Carr @ 630-834-9600 part number 3718K73.

SJ -- Send me an email : (email in profile) and I will forward you the response I received from Rochester that has picture included that did not come up on the post above. my email on member page is wrong and outdated.
(Edit: I changed your email for you in your profile as no emails addresses are allowed in the discussion areas)

I am still trying to replace two of the gauges.. and here are the dimensions I came up with. This is for 25 outrage with dual 70 gallon tanks:

• Center of Gear to end of cork float is 6 ½”
• Flange to center of gear 8 ¾”
• tank full (75 degrees)
• tank empty (145 degrees different than full)

SJ I'm not familiar with your boat's tank set up but from reading the posts above I assume you are looking for the "pick-up" assembly which sends a signal to your Gauge on your dash?
Are trying to keep it original? or trying to know how much gas you have. If the "pick-up" assembly is broken there are many new liquid level pickups available to replace that . It might take a little search to make the output wotk with your old dash gauge but many automotive gas tank sensor might work.
Or if you are not worried about originality get a nice new digital system, they even have wire-less ones.

This gauge is mechanical and is viewed through a clear deck plate at my feet when at the helm.
