OEM Rail-mounted Accessory Table for classic 16's???

I found this picture in the 1969 Boston Whaler catalog.
I was laughing about the guy making a PB&J on the back of the RPS seat... but then I looked above his shoulder and there on the rail looks like a prep table or bait station. Looks OEM too.
I looked in the back of the catalog were the accessories are listed but no table.
Anyone have any info on this?
Another picture?
Would like to make one but not quite enough from just this one view.
Looks so useful and it has alternative mounting options for storage or to be set inboard maybe.
(2 sets of rail slots on top and 3 on the bottom.)
I would be interested in any info or hypothesis about this table I can get.

A friend of mine who was an employee at the Fisher-Pierce Manufacturing complany said the photograph is of Boston Whaler founder Dick Fisher, taken during Fisher's travel on the East Coast Inland Water Way on a Boston Whaler 16. Fisher loved eating peanut butter sandwiches. The table you see in the background of the photograph is a locking rod box lid modified by Fisher to mount on the side rail as a useful small platform/cutting table or sandwich stand. The boat was rigged with a full Mills canvas and Dick slept on the boat while traveling.

Thanks for the information... now I really must have one.
I am now quite sure it was a one off then and while perhaps they used some wood material from the rod holders, it does not seem to be any parts directly.

Here is my modern version that I built. It rests on the rail with a channel of starboard, then has a mount that goes in the rod holder. Fits in the front cooler when not in use, and is rock solid. I can even leave it in place underway.

Hi Jake. Have you had any luck getting information about the railing hung fishing station? I too saw only the same items you reference above, & the links in the responses to your post, but still can't quite see how it assembles & works. Any help would be appreciated.
