Should stern light mount straight up left to right or should it follow the angle of transom, being angled slightly to port. not forward/backwards angle side to side angle only. Just want to get it right

You will want to look in our Downloads section under Installation and Parts Breakdown Sheets and download the Stern Light Installation Instructions.
http://www.whalercentral.com/download...owstart=15

These lights were mounted on either the Stern or the Port side depending on the year.
Yours most likely is mounted on the Port side.

You can look at other Sakonnet models in the members personal page section.

Thanks Joe big help all the holes were in the right spot. Still wondering if i can pull a new nav wire through the factory run in the hull? does the old wire just run through the boat flotation material or does it have a dedacated run built into the hull? thanks again,Charlie

New wires for the bow navigation light should be run via the rubrail.

The original bow light wire is through the foam, no dedicated run.
