I've got a 2000 Ventura 21' & am looking for the ski pylon that was designed to go with the boat. I don't think the design changed from 2000-2009, so I could probably use any model year. Anyone have a line on whaler dealer who might inventory parts of this era? Google is failing me here.

(corrected name of boat to Ventura 21' for clarification)

This way we know for sure what we are talking about in case the later models had some minor or major changes.

I'm new here, but the boat model name is 210 Ventura. That was not a typo. Yes its 21' long. Is there some other reason you made this change?

It can't be unless it is a 2002 or newer model.

Not possible as Whaler didn't use the 3 digit name on any models until 2002.

What is your HIN number?
Has someone replaced the decals in the past?

Let us know more.
2002 and newer is a Ventura 210
2001 and older is a Ventura 21'

Its seems that the Boston Whaler website disagrees with you.

http://www.bostonwhaler.com/Page.aspx/pageId/34791/Parts-Diagrams.aspx

The convention you mention seems consistent with nomenclature for the Ventura 20' in 1999 and prior years.

Regardless, you can call it a chicken salad for all I care. Does anyone have a line on where to get the ski pylon assembly for the boat being discussed here?

No, absolutely not regardless.
I will not dismiss this.
What does the side of your boat say?
If it says Ventura 21', then that is the model you have.
If it says Ventura 210, then someone in the past has changed it. (if it is indeed a 2000 year model)

Either you have it right or you don't have it right.
Take a look at the 2000 catalog, then the 2001 catalog, and then the 2002 catalog.

What Boston Whaler has on its site is generic which we do here sometimes here to keep the categories smaller.

Please do not come on this site and try to tell me how or what Whaler has called their boat models now, or in the past.
They are what they are and they are all documented.
FACT: the name changed to 3 digit for the 2002 year. Not before.
Again, I suggest you look at the published catalogs if you don't want to be educated by me or others here that know.

Please let us know what model you have so we can discuss it intelligently by knowing the exact model and year.

On second thought, with an attitude like that, I suggest you get your questions answered somewhere else.
Good Luck.
