I own a 2008 Sport 150 that has a rack for four rod-holders attached to the back of the mid-ships passenger seat-back. I cut a 1 1/2 wide piece of wood closet pole three feet long and slid it through the holder closest to the centerline of the boat and added 1 1/2 rubber tips top and bottom. I wrapped a white , heavy duty zip-tie around the throat of the holder to prevent it from shattering under stress. This vertical pole serves as a grab-bar as I move around the after half of the boat.
