Wondering if anyone knows of a source for the latch screws that mount to the bow anchor door panel? These are what seems to be a 2 piece screw and flush mounting bolt from the bottom of the door. The reason for this flush design, is when the door is laying flat, if the bolts were to protrude, then they would hit the lip of the seat when the door is shut. Any suggestions would be helpful.

THank you in advance

You can get them ordered at any local Boston whaler dealer.

Google "sex bolts" and you will get some choices. Also called barrel bolts, but that will get you a different variety plus what you are looking for.

Update!

Thanks to all who posted.

I looked at both suggestions for this hard to source part. ( simple, but percise) My quick conclusion, after searching google a bit, was to try to source the part from Boston Whaler first for a number of reasons, the main one being, I know it will be the correct size, and it will be stainless steel.

I did call BW today and they are still able to order this dual part. However it was not in stock, but only a couple of weeks out. ( time will tell) This is fine with me as the current hinges are holding fast with a couple of good screws for now. This is more preventive maintenance than anything else if you all know what I mean. Small problem now, big problem later... etc.

Once order is received, I will post part numbers for all future Restoration Whalertorians... lol

Get a thing of 5200 and when u install the new ones put that on top to kinda seal it. That's what it looked like they did in mine. The screws are not that expensive and yes they do not have them in stock. I had the part number. It's not hard to find with the whaler diagrams and stuff u can get on their website. Cheers
