I find some reference to a rear casting deck for the Newport but have yet to find actual detailed pictures, any links I have found to old pictures and are no longer there.

Any pictures would be appreciated, even if not for Newport it would give me some starting point for a design.

Thanks
Marc

I changed my search criteria and came up with some very good ideas, including one from Go Time.

Any chance you could provide the links to your search results, for those of us unfamiliar with the rear casting platforms? It sounds very interesting.

Think Part, or Optional Parts.
Then look in our "OEM Part Info and Photos" link on our site.

There you will find a photo of the optional "Stern Deck Assembly" for several models back then.

There are also other photos in the Personal Page section but you would need to browse through the Stripers, Bass Boat, and other models that might have used the stern deck.

Here is one that seems to be OEM, simple design

Then there is this thing of beauty, almost too nice to stand on, but is probably the design that I will seriously consider

There is only one OEM and that was the link I gave you.
