Hi All I'm about to redo the spider cracked deck in a 15' whaler. My plan is to sand and fair the interior deck and sides, epoxy prime coat and finish with Interlux perfection. My worry is the existing nonskid being taken down and having to applie a paint additive nonskid. I just came across a product called SeaDek and was wondering if anybody here has tried to replace their nonskid with this product?
I have not tried the sea deck product, but it looks like it is an enhancement to you boats soundly finished deck. That be said I have sanded the non skid off and added non skid to paint and it turned out very nice . I did mimic the original non skid location by taping off the factory smooth area. Good luck
