I recently purchased a 1989 Montauk and the boat has a bilge pump which does not appear to be part of the original setup. Can anybody confirm this is an addition? The hose simply runs over the transom so if this is original it doesn’t appear to be rigged correctly. I’m confused because the on/off switch is mounted on the rear starboard and looks like it was installed at the factory. Appreciate any insight on the topic. Gordon
Joe, thanks for the photo. What I have is not mounted on the console and after reviewing a parts manual I've come to the conclusion it was an after market add-on.
