From a previous thread from Huckelberry a request was made for a small piece of the marine plywood. I did some measurements I may not have much to spare. I put in a call to the lumber company and am getting a quote for a new sheet. If there is enough interest I would be willing to purchase a sheet and cut to reasonably sized dimensions and sell it for my square footage cost plus shipping. Let me know. Huck and ggaluppi would have first dibs.

Garris- that would be awesome! I would actually need a piece that's 12x18 to be safe. I've also sent a message to a local wooden boat building shop to see if they have some scraps but haven't heard back yet...
The piece would be 12" x 24" or 24" x 24" to keep the measurements dimensional. Keep the orders coming to make it worth while to pick up a piece. Once I get a bunch of measurements I can measure out the cuts. I will designate pieces accordingly.
Free to good home. I made some 3 tiered rod holders that were factory original for my 1979 22' Revenge. I did 7 coats of Daley's Seafin Teak Oil (Tung oil base). I left them off the ground leaning on a shed with a tarp over the winter and mold/mildew got underneath the teak oil. Easier (and more fun) to fabricate new ones. They need to be stripped of the oil and then treated with chlorine. Yours for shipping cost. 4 pieces total.
The plywood veneer is more porous than straight hardwood. I am a "oil" wood type guy and adhere to that for my teak. But plywood....work it quickly and apply a shellac top coat to prevent moisture from getting underneath. The mold made it underneath the oil. I contacted Daley's and the Teak oil is not a sealant. It is a treatment. I may very well go back to the linseed oil base oils because my mold clean ups were simple with no stripping. Tung leaves a barrier coat. Dang!!!!!I wish this was simple.
The price for a sheet of 3/4 " Marine Grade Mahogany is $210 after tax. I do not mind having a little kicking around but if enough interest I can purchase a sheet and divi it up.
