Hello All,
I purchased my first whaler April of last year and had a blast with the family and friend all summer and fall. It is a 1990 Super Sport Limited 17' with a 1999 Yamaha 90 two stroke. Been a member since back in the summer and have enjoyed reading about and viewing other whalers. The boat is in great shape as the previous owner was very meticulous with care and maintenance. It has two 6-gal steel Yamaha fuel tanks. On one of the tanks, I have noticed that the Fuel Meter Assembly is loosing prime and needs to be replaced. Can anyone suggest a supplier that has replacement parts for these tanks? Any help would be appreciated.
I will work on posting pics of the boat in the near future. Being in Alabama, it won't be long until we will be taking the boat out again. Phillip
You should be able to find parts for your tank here:

I winter in Ft. Myers and summer in St. Joseph, Michigan. It’s now about 12 years since I’ve joined this group. I gave my 1972 whaler to my daughter and sold the 17’. Bought an O’Day 28 sailboat and sailed on Lake Michigan. Yesterday I bought a 2005 130 Sport.
Thank you Wing15601 for the info. This site led me to another site I that was able to order from. Yamaha's part # is 6Y1-24260-02-00 and this is the link I used to order the part; http://www.partspak.com/productcart/pc/viewprd.asp?idproduct=44608 . It is currently on backorder until March 6 from Yamaha. Thank you again for your help.
