Member Personal Page Posts: 118 Comments: 0 Joined: 01/15/11	Harvey, I restored a friends 22 Outrage and we used Sanshade to replace the wooden rod holders. It was not a perfect color match to the gelcoat but it was a lot better than white or black. I replaced the back plate on my 1998 montauk which is white and the white Starboard is a true white.

Member Personal Page Posts: 103 Comments: 0 Joined: 11/03/08	Garris I received samples from Boatoutfitters and they didn't have Sandshade I don't see it on their website They had 2 whites, 2 grays, black, Seafoam and Fishwhite I'll ask if Sandshade is available. I'm going to have them make blocks to raise the seat, bow hatch cover and a tray for the top of the center console. Thanks Harvey

I did my color comparison at a boat/electronics shop and they had a piece leftover from a large special order. Not a commonly carried color from some of the shops. Well worth the investigation for the color. If you are stuck and give me dimensions I could see what the TAP can do. If all else fails I could facilitate sending. Garris

Member Posts: 1675 Comments: 0 Joined: 03/31/13	Harvey, working with starboard is easier than wood. It edges and cuts beautifully. You just need a large/huge tarp under the work area. The mess is amazing. Wood is biodegradable, the by product of cutting gets everywhere. Almost as messy as aluminum. Garris
