This is my question: Was the rear Thwart Seat ever really factory mounted on top of the seat clamp on the 1984 circa Whaler 15 Sport or Super Sport?
Does anyone have a 15 Sport Console or want to trade a 15 Sport Console for a 15 Super Sport Console. I have a 15 SS Console (never used) from Specialty Marine.
I want to replace all the wood on my 15 to Sport specs. I am fusy about keeping the boat authentic. To me the back rest and seat locker is fluff.
Regards and Merry Christmas

Greg - I have an original mahogany console, instrument panel, and side rails from a 1976 Sport 15. The wood is in excellent condition (boat has been garage kept for its entire life). Just needs to be stripped, sanded and refinished. The top of the console has 4 holes: 1 for the steering helm (drilled for Teleflex Big-T), a 2" hole for a trim meter, a 3-1/2" hole for a tachometer, and a 3-1/2" hole for a speedometer. If you are interested let me know and I'll post pictures.
