Member Posts: 5 Comments: 0 Joined: 10/10/08	I'm renovating a 1987 Montauk 17, and am looking for a fiberglass seatback for the reversible pilot seat. Hoping that someone might point me in the right direction. I've tried the internet and Specialty Marine so far without success. I'm even willing to buy the whole RPS assembly if I have to. Thanks in advance!

These do show up from time to time but I have seen the teak ones more often. Member Posts: 5 Comments: 0 Joined: 10/10/08	Sorry for the confusion, and at the risk of offending the purists, yes, I do wish to replace the old teak one I have with a fiberglass one from a newer model (I am not sure of the years when the fiberglass supplanted the wood). Hope I can sell the teak one later. My motivation here is less maintenance with wood vs. fiberglass. I plan to fish the boat hard in saltwater. Now we all know for sure you are looking for a Fiberglass version and the teak version will not work for you. Good luck in your search. Just another thought.
