Hello All - I have simple question - I hope
I pulled my bow cushion into the garage to give it some time to dry out. When I unzipped the cushion cover for the first time i noticed that the foam was partially covered with plastic bags. Enough of the foam is exposed to get soaked. I took the rest of the plastic bags off as they seem like they are a barrier to let the water dry out. Does anyone have experience or opinion on leaving the plastic bags on or off? Do they serve a purpose or just used in the manufacturing process? Thanks!
I just got a set of new (used) cushions from a mid 80's Revenge to replace the cushions for my 1979 Revenge. My old cushions had tired fabric and compromised plastic, the replacements intact on both fronts. The old failed the "sniff test". I did not explore inside the covers to see if the plastic completely sealed the foam.
