Also I am thinking of using 1" Starboard AS (Anti Skid) material for the fuel tank cover in my 1977 Outrage 21 and also to make a casting platform with the remainder of the sheet. My neighbor is a commercial plastics fabricator and I will get it at cost.
Has anyone used this material?
I read posts about regular Starboard failing as a decking material and being rather slippery.
Any other millable materials to use for the cover?
The swim platform on my 16-foot Whaler, made by by Martin Marine Design (a sponsor of this site) uses that material. It is not at all slippery with wet feet.
