Hey guys, what's your opinion on a replacement windshield color for my 1996 Dauntless 13? I believe I have a medium Grey 2064 UDP color now. My shield needs replacement and I was wondering what color windshields people have switched to. I was going to keep it all original but I don't think it maters much. I use this boat on a river and not in the salt water so I am in shaded areas often. Any thoughts?
Thank You.
If you google "boat windshield color" you will find that a lot of people who have gone for darker colors now wish they had clear because the darker colors make it harder to see in low light conditions. On the other hand, the dark colors are better at hiding the beer from the marine police.
I winter in Ft. Myers and summer in St. Joseph, Michigan. It’s now about 12 years since I’ve joined this group. I gave my 1972 whaler to my daughter and sold the 17’. Bought an O’Day 28 sailboat and sailed on Lake Michigan. Yesterday I bought a 2005 130 Sport.
Did you ever find that latch you were looking for? I think this is it.

Yes wing, thank you I found the key number for the lock so I didn't have to replace it. I found the hasp for the anchor well also.
The key # is CH751 its a standard key on rv's as well.
I guess I will stay with the medium shade. I don't know how that marine green would look.
