Whalerbob introduced me to the CE Smith midmount 53610a midmount rod holder. Mounts on the vertical stainless rail support as well as horizontal. There were 5 for sale on ebay, there are now 3 for sale after my purchase of two of them. $80@ with free shipping. Some members expressed an interest in this particular rod holder and the ebay price is very reasonable.
