Anyone ever seen a Montauk style railing on a Newport? I just noticed one a boat on CL:
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/boa/4395650377.html
Wondering if anyone knows if this would have been factory installed (option) ?
Also wondering what people think the pros / cons are between the two different rail styles?
thanks
(and in case anyone is wondering, I have no affiliation with the boat on CL)

That is not a Montauk bow rail.
It is aftermarket.
View the Montauk rails here: (they do not attach to the top)
