steering bezel

Member Personal Page Posts: 52 Comments: 0 Joined: 02/05/14	I have a 1986 13 super sport that I am restoring. The steering bezel is just a round plastic piece. It does not look like the one in the parts manual I got from Whaler. Anyone know if these are available anywhere?

It has a single starboard cable The pic you sent does look similar to the one I have. The steering wheel is a 6 spoke destroyer type.

I have some teak laying around from when I had a big boat and need to put it to work. Also I like the look of oiled teak over plastic anytime.

Member Posts: 23 Comments: 0 Joined: 11/26/07	The bezel is the one that came with the boat, a 1981 Montauk, and looks like it is made of aluminum. The width is 4-1/2, height is 1-3/4, with two bolts coming out of the back to attach to dash there are three holes that bolts go through to attach to the steering unit.
