Looking to replace/recover the coaming bolters on my outrage. Want to keep as original as possible with whaler logo in the middle. Anyone out there know where I can have this done?
I just had mine done on the Whaler 27, but there was not a whaler logo on the coaming in 1989, so it was an easy replacement. We used a 1 piece custom cut that matched the one that was on the boat already, and we got rid of all the wood mounting strips used originally and replaced the with plastic for durability. The wood backing was rotting. We used a local craftsman from Bridge Harbor Yacht club that did a very nice job. If you have a marina or Yacht club near you, give them a call, they probably will know someone.
