Well, I just bought my 3rd Whaler and am excited to begin customizing it. It has a seat console that I believe will accommodate a 25-30 gallon bait tank. Has anyone installed one lately? Is so, where can I get the tank and plumbing? Thanks.

(Moderator edited subject line for specificity, added full model year. Please use 4 digit year)

Look at www.keepalive.net
I use one of their units in a 54 cooler
It keeps a cooler full of menhaden alive all day
They have a variety of products

It is just standard stuff, the drain and standpipe is from TH Marine, they probably have the fill /aerator also.

I have been using a Keepalive 10gal. Baitwell on my 17 Montauk for a year now and I am very pleased with it. It is secured in place on the port side aft with a couple of pieces of small braided line, making it easy to remove, and a couple of pigtail wires plug in to the stern light wires. This system aerates the water in the well and does an excellent job of keeping bait alive. it will also keep a bunch of yellow perch alive till I get back to the dock. Draining a bucket of water and adding another every 4 hours works well.

I winter in Ft. Myers and summer in St. Joseph, Michigan. It’s now about 12 years since I’ve joined this group. I gave my 1972 whaler to my daughter and sold the 17’. Bought an O’Day 28 sailboat and sailed on Lake Michigan. Yesterday I bought a 2005 130 Sport.

I would call Mark Wish @ Pacific Edge in Huntington Beach, he has poly, fiberglass tanks and all the parts you'll need. He also can install
