Recently purchased a 1986 18 Outrage. I'm interested in suggestions or someone's experience in purchasing a storage cover for it. I won't use it a lot so I'm thinking a semi-custom cover.
I just purchased a cover from Mills and it is great. I was hesitant to spend a little of a grand on a boat cover, but this fit and finish are worth it.
I figured a decent semi-custom from a catalog or online source in sunbrella material would be around 600, plus it would not be an exact fit.
I'll second the Mills Mooring Cover. The consensus is that if you plan to have your boat for many years, the Mills is the one, as it will last fora very long time.
I have a new Mills Mooring Cover available for an 18' Outrage. Never used it because it didn't fit my 1991 Outrage since it has the taller console.

I bought the Mooring cover about 5 years ago form our local dealer. They were closing and had several old stock items in sale. This was one of them. No returns accepted. I paid $550.00. It has never been used because it didn't fit our 1991 Outrage 18'. The only difference between your 18" and ours is the console. Ours came with a taller console. The Mills part no. is 52-5007-00a. The color is Pacific Blue.
