A week ago I purchased a 1979 15 Sport. When I picked it up, the gentlemen told me he had alot of extra parts. I went back yesterday to pick up the parts and I filled the bed of my truck. Of special note was an original stainless bow rail and an interesting u shaped rail that serves as both side trails and back rest. It's this piece rare? I also got done extra lifting eyes and the bow light with chocks.

There was also this piece, it might be homemade, but if it is someone really did a nice job.

The U shaped rail you call is actually a wrap around seat rail.
That was an option on Sport models and standard on Sourpuss models.

See the "Whaler Models and Specs" link for information on both models along with the members personal pages.

That is just one more reason why it is important to know the "MODEL" of any Whaler.

NO.

In those days, Whaler did not include motors or any instruments with some exceptional options on other models.

The dealers installed the motor and instruments that the buyer wanted or the buyer did it themselves.
