hey, got my reversible seat for my 1962 Nauset varnished and looking good. the problem is i need the assembly instructions, exploded view, or at least a few pictures of a finished one. that way i can put it together, sand it, and then spray the final coat of varnish. looked online but couldnt find anything. any help is greatly appreciated! cant wait to get this thing out on the water!

in the past, you could find a link on the left to photos and diagrams and maybe something which would help you. Those links are now gone but there may be another Boston Whaler forum on the web where you can find something. I would google "Boston Whaler Nauset" or "Boston Whaler forums" and see what pops up.

I winter in Ft. Myers and summer in St. Joseph, Michigan. It’s now about 12 years since I’ve joined this group. I gave my 1972 whaler to my daughter and sold the 17’. Bought an O’Day 28 sailboat and sailed on Lake Michigan. Yesterday I bought a 2005 130 Sport.

Sorry, I thought you were looking for the standard seat. The original plans used to be available but seem to have gone missing. I'll look and see if I have them saved somewhere but meanwhile here are a couple sites that sell plans and parts. Maybe if you asked Speacilty Marine they could send you the assembly instructions, they do sell the seat as a kit.
