Thanks for all of the kind comments! This project was challenging and fun as everthing came together. I think the forward leaning arch is a great looking design! I may do one for my early 16 foot hull!

Might you be interested in selling those backing plates "loose"? I think folks might be interested in them for reinforcing the gunwales for various attachments. I know I would be interested in a set...
